St. John's Live

Stay Connected while we are apart

Over these coming weeks it will be important to stay connected with one another, you'll be able to find information about how you can do that with St. John's on this page.

As long as we are unable to meet in person we will follow the following schedule to stay connected with one another. We will use Zoom for all of these, I would encourage you to download zoom on your computer, tablet, or phone so you can take part with us. There is also a call in option with no video capabilities required. Our worship (Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Compline) will also be streamed onto our facebook page and our website.

If you do not have a Book of Common Prayer at home you can find them at Barrington Books (I believe they will ship it to you) or on Amazon or Church Publishing, at www.bcponline.org, or as a pdf currently available for free from Church publishing. If you would like to say the offices of Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer more regularly I commend this site to you, simply click on the icon at the top for the days services complete with readings.
Our Monday lunch time Bible Study will be looking at the Gospel of Matthew. We will simply read a chapter and discuss it each week. The Wednesday evening program will be using a series the church put out a few years ago called Pilgrim: A Course for the Christian Journey, we will begin with the first session, Turning to Christ. If you would like you can purchase a book from Amazon or Church Publishing. You do not need to purchase the book, we can do this with only me having the book.
Coffee Hour and Happy Hour will just be times to log onto zoom to chat. I'll leave it open for an hour and you can drop in or out as you please with the beverage or snack of your choice.
If you would like to receive the zoom invitation to any of these offerings please reach out to Fr. Patrick.
