Every evening at 8pm you are invited to join us as we close our day in prayer. Compline is a beatuiful and brief service descending from the night prayers said before bed at the end of the monastic round of daily prayer. The service is under ten minutes long and includes a confession of sins, a recitation of a psalm, a short reading from scripture, versicles and responses, the Lord's Prayer, collects which ask for God's protection during the night to come along with free intercessions and thanksgivings, and the canticle Nunc dimittis.
Compline is streamed live every night on our Facebook page. On Tuesday & Wednesday you can also join us on for this service on Zoom, please be in touch with Fr. Patrick (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the Zoom invite information.
Morning & Evening Prayer on Sundays
We invite you to join us on Zoom or our Facebook Page on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 for Morning Prayer. A bulletin for our service, along with the Zoom login info, is sent out as part of our Weekly E-blast on Thursdays, you can sign up for that here.
Morning Prayer consists of a few sung hymns, readings from scripture, a sermon, and prayers from the Book of Common Prayer.
Holy Eucharist on Sundays
On Sunday, March 21st we resumed limited in-person worship as we had been offering in the fall. Palm Sunday and Easter will have different schedules, after Easter however we will continue to offer a service of Holy Eucharist in Field Hall. We are still in the parish hall and not the sanctuary as the windows can open and allow for better ventilation. If you would like to join us for Holy Eucharist on a Sunday please call the office by Thursday at noon to reserve a spot as space is limited.
