Holy Eucharist on Sundays
In June we resumed our usual summer worship schedule with services of Holy Eucharist at 9am in the church and 5:30pm outside when the weather permits. Our 9am service can be joined on Zoom or Facebook Live if you are unable to join us in person.
At this time masks are required for indoor services for anyone who is not fully vaccinated.
At the beginning of the pandemic we began to gather together online every evening to close our day in prayer with a service of Compline. Compline is a beautiful and brief service descending from the night prayers said before bed at the end of the monastic round of daily prayer. The service is under ten minutes long and includes a confession of sins, a recitation of a psalm, a short reading from scripture, versicles and responses, the Lord's Prayer, collects which ask for God's protection during the night to come along with free intercessions and thanksgivings, and the canticle Nunc dimittis.
In June we moved to offering Compline on Wednesday evenings in the Memorial Garden when weather allows and on Thursday evenings on Zoom and our Facebook page. Please be in touch with Fr. Patrick (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the Zoom invite information.
