Blessing of the Animals
On October 4th we commemorate St. Francis, it is in recognition of his love for all of God's creation that we bless our pets around this feast day. Join us this year on Sunday, October 3rd at 5pm for our blessing of the animals. We plan to gather in the Memorial Garden (behind the church building by the flag pole) but will move into the sanctuary if the weather does not allow us to be outside. Bring your pets, live or stuffed, and join us for the wonderful celebration of all of God's creatures. If you are wary about your pet in large groups or around others you can bring a picture to be blessed.
